Join a European-trained sommelier for a private tutored tasting in your own home of the recently released first vintages of an up-and-coming star vineyard of the Southern Rhone wine region of France. Chene Bleu's wines are made in a protected mountain saddle high in the foothills of Mt Ventoux (known as the highest point in the Tour de France bicylcle race) just north of Provence. The owners (the CEO of the London Stock Exchange and his wife) have cut not-a-corner in their pursuit of making the highest quality wines possible on their unique and history-laden site. The one-hour tasting will include the estate's two signature Syrah-Grenache blends and a third unique wine by Chene Bleu. Guests will learn about Rhone wines and the Chene Bleu project while sampling Provencale hors d'oeuvres.
