Description

This Italian street scene by Venetian painter Elio Lazzari is both bold and subtle  and is a proto-typical sample of the way Lazzari uses color in his work. 


He is an important Venetian painter whose work is direct and bold.  He is a great colorist who can render an image with the certitude of an experienced master and the narrative element of his work is clear and decisive.

Lazzari has exhibited extensively. His work is numerous private and public collections in Venice, Rome, Florence, Milan, Torino, and many other Italian cities. He has also exhibited in Madrid, Barcelona, Cadiz, Paris, New York, Frankfurt, and Luxembourg to name but a few. His works has been featured at Lincoln Center, New York; The Marley Gallery, Luxembourg; Sala Napoleonica, San Marco, Italy, The National Exhibit "Homage to Venice;" Vitality of Art - Exhibit, Milan. Italy; and Marin-Price Galleries, Chevy Chase, Maryland.


 


His original works sell for $2,500 to $8,000.
