This collector's plate titeld “Ashore at Dawm”  is brilliantly trimmed in 22-karat gold and is the second in the “Columbus Discovers America”.  This  a collection of limited-edition plates was created by artist Jordi Penalva.

Depicted is Columbus's three intrepid caravels with sails furled, lying at anchor in a brilliant dawn, just as the first landing party disembarks for the shore.
