"A Basket of Snowdrops" is the third plate in “Gifts of the Seasons”, a collection of plates inspired by true Palekh lacquerware miniatures created by Palekh Master Artist Anatoly Vleshko. This plate is produced in layers of pigment and gold in an edition limited to a maximum of 95 firings.

Magically depicted, a little orphan girl receives help from the twelve months. They have turned winter into spring so that she may bring home snowdrop flowers that have been requested by the girl’s stepmother.
