The Uniform Store in Winchester, Virginia has been providing medical scrubs and chef wear for many years. Several different owners and locations later, The Uniform Store was purchased in March 2009 by its current owner, Lisa B. Beggs. The 900 square foot store was located at 14 Weems Lane. After 14 months of growing our customer base and sales, a decision was made to move to a larger store. After many hours of planning, demolition, painting, arranging and rearranging, The Uniform Store opened its current location of 10 Weems Lane (just 2 doors down) on June 1, 2010.

A larger location has allowed an increase in inventory, visual merchandising, and created a tasteful, friendly and fun atmosphere to shop in! We have all the uniform items necessary for work and a few items that aren't! All of us at the store are dedicated to accommodating your needs, whether it is finding the right style, fabric, color or fit. The Uniform Store reflects our customer's desire to look professional and feel their best!

Services that The Uniform Store provides are basically determined by our customers' needs. We can assist you in the selection of the appropriate uniforms, consolidate the ordering process and label each individual's order for easy distribution. Services that we have thought of and are currently offering are:

• Embroidery & Personalization – We offer custom logo and name embroidery on items such as scrub tops, jackets, lab coats, chef coats, aprons and tote bags. Personalized engraving of stethoscopes and medical equipment is also available. Cost can vary depending on the size, number of colors, stitches and intricacy of pattern. We will be happy to give you an estimate once we know exactly what you need.


• Group Fittings – Group orders can be difficult in many areas to organize, fit, and complete. No order is too big or too small. We will assist you in selecting the appropriate uniforms, consolidate the ordering process, and once the uniforms are received, we will divide and label each individual's order for easy distribution. The Uniform Store can provide your "group" with sample sizes of your specific uniform choices to insure proper fitting. We will schedule a fitting at your location or keep sample sizes at the store so fittings can be done conveniently as each individual has time. We try to make this process as easy on you as we can!!!


• On-Line Group Ordering – If on-line ordering for your group is more convenient, we can develop a customized page on our website for you. This page will contain your specific uniforms, equipment, accessories and shoe choices. A customized page is an especially convenient feature utilized by schools and hospitals that have specific dress codes. Items ordered by this method may be mailed to a designated address or held at our store for pick-up.


• Scrub Shows – If your organization would like to offer the benefit of a scrub show, we would like to oblige! The Uniform Store has the ability to bring our store to your facility, just on a smaller scale. A scrub show can be tailored to your specific needs and desires or we can choose the merchandise. This is a very nice touch that can be given to your employees without any cost to you! We love delivering our personal service and cherish the relationships that they foster.


• After Hour Group Parties – If your group (students, employees, friends, etc.) would like to have an "After Hours" shopping event, please give us a call! As long as your group is at least 10 in number, we will be happy to schedule an evening event especially for you!


• Gift Cards – Gift cards may be purchased at the store for any amount. Any item in the store may be purchased with one of our gift cards and there are no expiration dates. These are great ideas for special occasions such as graduations, Christmas and Nurse's Appreciation Week.


• Layaway – Layaway is offered for a period of 60 days with a 10% deposit and monthly payments.
