Lightning is a 4 foot soft plush horse that is part of the Wells Fargo Legendary Horses series.

This horse is the seventh in a series and unlike her nine predecessors who pulled a delivery wagon or stagecoach, Lightning is a Pony Express horse, and was chosen because 2010 was the 150th anniversary of the Pony Express.

Since they were introduced in 2003, Wells Fargo has issued 10 varieties of limited-edition plush ponies, each carrying the name and a description of a real horse in Wells Fargo’s history.

For the third year now, the larger version of the pony is part of seasonal store decorations before it’s donated to an area charitable organization that serves children.
