Gerrit Goss opened his Landscape Architecture and Design firm in 2011 with the simple goal of creating beautiful and livable landscapes for his clients. From his main office in Charlottesville, Virginia, Gerrit works all over the country to create inspiring, usable residential and small scale commercial landscapes.

Gerrit studied at Rollins College in Florida, where he graduated Cum Laude with a BA degree in Art History. In 1997, he graduated from the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture with his Master of Landscape Architecture degree. The next several years were spent in New York, working first for Robert A. M. Stern Architects and then for Madison Cox Design, a boutique garden design firm with an international client list. In 2005, Mr. Goss joined the Los Angeles office of Ft Lauderdale based EDSA. Leaders in the hospitality and resort design market, EDSA presented Mr. Goss with the opportunity to travel extensively and coordinate closely with other top architects, golf course architects, and designers as he managed large scale commercial projects located in beautiful resort destinations around the world.
