This is an 8" wafer signed by Jack Kilby.  One of the last remaining wafers signed by Jack, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2000 for his part in the invention of the integrated circuit over 50 years ago.

Very beautiful blue plush background and the wafer looks like it is "floating" in the frame. This item is wrapped in plastic, which is causing in to not look as beautiful in the photograph, but no marks or damage to the frame.. It is directy from the framing company.
