A Little Bit About Mary -
When I was a baby and ready to go home from the hospital in Michigan where I was born, I didn't go home alone. My grandmother was a nurse working at the same hospital and found a tiny dirty black and white kitten on the grounds. That diminutive creature went home with me and my mother and was the start of my love affair with animals.

Over the years, I grew up with many different pets in the family so I'm comfortable around all little creatures. I was always the one who family and friends turned to when there was a animal in need no matter what the creature was - cat, dog, bird, owl, opossum, lizard, frog, mouse, rat. I think I like animals!

I've worked in rescue independently and with animal rescue groups since 1990. After many years of pet sitting for family, friends and adopters of cats from the non-profit rescue group that I've volunteered with since 1999, Kitten Rescue in Los Angeles, I decided to form my own pet sitting business and HAVE CATNIP WILL TRAVEL was born.
