Description
This sitting is for human individuals or families. The resulting 16 x 20 wall portrait on canvas will be richly embellished by their renown artist making the portrait "painting like". Studios are located in Costa Mesa, California, in New York about 30 minutes outside of Manhattan, and in Palm Beach, Florida.
In today's world where most photographers are using the same digital techniques to enhance their portraits, Bradford has chosen a very different path.
Though digital is used at times, and sparingly only where and when it makes sense, Bradford prefers to use the classic techniques of the old world masters.
Rumiana, the master artist who has been with Bradford for the last 15 years, is recognized as one of the top portrait artist in the United States. Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, Rumiana was tutored in the Old European methods of classic artistry. As an adult, Rumiana along with her family escaped the tyranny of communism and eventually settled in Southern California. It is her art which completes the Bradford characteristic; giving each portrait an exquisite three dimensional and life-like look finished in fine european style.
The decision to choose oil based artistry applied by hand to the portrait over the much less expensive and faster digital technology distinctly sets Bradford apart from his peers. Just as a fine Rolex® watch made with classic swiss movement stands out in a sea of watches made with the more common quartz movement, the grandeur of the Bradford Portrait dramatically stands out as an original master work of true art.
Widely recognized as one of the top portraitists in the world today, Bradford Rowley's portraits of distinction can be seen in many of the most luxurious homes throughout North America as well as abroad.
Having a passion and love of the art from a very early age, Bradford drew inspiration from the great masters of portraiture from the early Renaissance Period to the present. The impact of the works of such legendary portrait artists such as Sir Thomas Gainsborough and Sargent would greatly influence Bradford's style.
In 1988, Bradford opened the doors to his first studio and became international-award-winning during his first year of business.
By 1992, the "Bradford look" was quickly catching the attention of some of the most discriminating taste in the greater Los Angeles area. As word of Bradford continued to spread, so did the reach of his clientele. Clients began to travel not only from throughout Southern California, but also flew in from out of state to be photographed by him.
In 1997, Bradford was invited to join the prestigious Presidential Circle: an exclusive group of approximately fifty of the top photographers in the United States.
By 1999, Bradford began to receive numerous invitations to speak at both national and international photography conventions. Bradford also began to hold private seminars for photographers which would sell out in as little as four days, and photographers would travel from as far away as Australia to learn his techniques. To date, Bradford has taught photographers from more than twenty five different countries.
In 2002, Bradford was asked to serve as the Advisory Chairman of the Presidential Circle.
2006 marked a major milestone for Bradford as he opened a second location in New York about 30 minutes outside of Manhattan. This studio serves a very select group of clientele from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and other Eastern States.
Today the demand for Bradford's museum quality portraiture is at its highest level. To meet this demand Bradford has secured the expansion of studio operations to Palm Beach, Florida to serve his clientele in that part of the country.
We welcome you to discover the exquisite uniqueness of the Bradford Portrait. You are cordially invited to call Bradford Renaissance Portraits to reserve this unique opportunity and encounter exquisite portraiture at its richest.
Each year, Bradford Renaissance Portraits donates more than a million dollars in goods and funds to worthy causes in the greater Los Angeles and New York areas and beyond. While serving as the Chairman of the Presidential Circle, Bradford organized and rallied over 100 photographers to donate to the St. Jude home for battered women in Crown Point, Indiana. In 2003, Bradford received recognition from Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn for his contributions to charity in the Los Angeles area. As one of the top portraitist in the world, it is the continuous goal of Bradford to move from a position of success to a position of significance through giving back to the community and to help make the world a better place for future generations to enjoy.
