A great accumulation of German imported goodies.  Food/Wine/Beer and a few other tidbits - what else would anyone want?  Most of the items being bid on (other than the wine/beer) come from our family owned German/New Ulm gift shop.  Enjoy reading the descriptions of the gift basket:

Wine (750 ml): 2010 St. Urbans-Hof Riesling:  this winery is located in the village of Leiwen in the heart of Germany's renowned Mosel Valley.  The vineyards of the estate are situated on many of the finest slopes of the Mosel and Saar Rivers and are planted exclusively to Riesling.

Wine (750 ml): 2004 Fetzer Gewurztraminer: a German white wine produced in California.  Great for taming spicy foods or sipping on its own.  Enjoy the honeyed apricot and peach flavors in the glass, and breathe deeply to capture the aromas of rose petals and honeysuckle.

Beer (6 pack):  Hofbrau Munchen Hefe Weizen:  this unfiltered Hefe Weizen is characterized by its sparkling rich foam and naturally by its unforgettable refreshing fruity taste.

Beer Stein:  a very nice and sturdy beer stein made and decorated in Germany.  The emblem on the stein is that of the German city Heidelberg, located in the south-west part of the country.

Beer coasters:  an assortment of four different beer coasters from Germany.

Candy/Snacks:

1. "hanuta", a German wafer cookie with a chocolate hazelnut filling (12 cookies)


2. "Milka" a milk chocolate confection with toffee,


3. "Ritter SPORT" Alpine Milk Chocolate,


4. "Ritter SPORT" Milk Chocolate with Butter Biscuit,


5. "Haribo Roulette" gummi candy (similar to Lifesaver Gummi candies).

Food:  a package of "Bechtle" Traditional German Egg Pasta (Spaetzle - Bavarian Style) (17.6oz, creates nine servings).  Bechtle Pastas are made with high quality durum wheat and freshly cracked cage-free eggs.

Candle:  Northwoods Jennifleur scented wine country candle.  Molded in the bottom half of a California Red Wine bottle.

Gift Certificate/Visitor Guide:  a $10 gift certificate to the Guten Tag Haus (family owned) located in beautiful New Ulm, MN.  The store houses a wide range of imported German candies, foods, seasonal decorations, Herman the German novelties, clothing, glockenspeils, beer steins and numerous other novelties.  New Ulm is a historic south-central MN city that is widely know for its German heritage, small family run retail stores and festivities in and near the city.
