You and a friend want to learn to surf? Sweet, brah. Here is the deal:
We cruise down to the coast, carpool style. You borrow one of my boards. I teach you how to stand up on it. You hoot. You enjoy the clean water that the folks at the NC Conservation Network help make happen. We get lunch, I pick up the tab. I make you a cool surf music CD. You are stoked. Righteously stoked.

If you win this item, you win the whole day with the instructor, Damon Circosta. Please note that he is extremely flexible and ready to spend the day with the winning bidder at the beach (likely Topsail Island). He does mention though that for the folks who want a specific hour measure, he would guess that the lesson would last about 2.5 hours.
Special Instructions
I know, ten thousand dollars for estimated value... bogus, right? But you can't put a price on catching a wave. People say things like "surfing will change your life". If a day at the beach, some tasty waves, and some serious stoke doesn't have an estimated value of a billion, I don't know what does.
