This is bottle is from the last shipment of this vintage to the United States.  Less than 80 bottles left at the winery in Tokaj, Hungary.  Wine Notes by Ronn Wiegand, MW: Wonderful structure and balanced complexity with big nose. The nose is layered with tobacco, dark chocolate and plum jam. It is followed with wonderful ripe fruits of apricot, mango, papaya and a nice nuttiness.

-       Sivi Pinot Amphora 2006, Silver medal at Decanter World Wine Awards, by ErzetiÄÂÂÂÂ Winery.  An amazing delectable aged Slovenian Pinot Gris. Uniquely crafted, after 15 months of aging in 100% French oak it matures further for 12 months in an immense 7’ clay amphora with the body of the amphora receded into the cellar floor; allowing for aging without the oak influence. A full bodied dry white with a beautiful copper color, has an amazing aromatic nose that offers aromas of dried fruits, red apples, nutmeg, as well as vanilla, with a hint of butter. It is a robust wine true to the palate with dried fruits, subtle apple, and an array of baking spices leaving a welcomed viscosity in the mouth.

-       Cabernet Sauvignon Amphora 2007, Commended medal at Decanter World Wine Awards, by ErzetiÄÂÂÂÂÂ Winery.  100% Cabernet Sauvignon. A uniquely crafted Cabernet; after 3 weeks of maceration it ages for 18 months in partially new French oak, then it matures in an immense 7’ clay amphora. It is presented in an elegant amphora shaped bottle. A subtle nose of ripe red fruits, chocolate and oak. On the palate, red fruits followed by leather, chocolate, earthiness and leather with ripe tannins. Wonderful with red meats and game dishes.
