Brighton jewelry is created through a multi-step process that begins with a designer’s hand sketch.  Each piece is cast in solid brass or zinc alloy and is lavishly dipped in pure silver.  Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, they add a protective layer of lacquer to assist in retarding this typical occurrence.
