Up for bid is a gift certificate redeemable for four Lawn Tickets to the July 14, 2012 performance by the Gathering of the Green. Tickets to this event will be made available to the winning bidder in June 2012.

Gathering on the Green is a community organization that presents a summer series of performing arts programs and provides music and arts education for children. It is the only performance of its kind in the country that combines orchestra, ballet, opera and theater into one weekend festival. The organization's mission is to enrich the lives of the people in its communities by introducing and fostering the future of the performing arts through the production and presentation of quality, family-focused, and educational performances for regional audiences as well as using its resources to aid music and arts education for children.

Since 1994, Gathering on the Green has become Southeastern Wisconsin’s premier summer spot to enjoy the performing arts. Set in scenic Mequon Rotary Park, the multiple day festival offers the opportunity to enjoy the best of Milwaukee’s performing arts, while gazing under the summer stars. Gathering on the Green’s vision is to introduce new audiences, families and children to the performing arts. It is important to continually bring new audiences to the performing arts to keep them alive and vibrant for the future.
