Milwaukee artist Thom Ertl has offered for bid his mixed-media piece titled Aerial View. Contemplating this piece, Thom explais, "I’m broke and I’m cheap. Let me rephrase that. I dream of faraway, exotic places and long to travel the world. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to do that, so I end up traveling in my head instead. Or, I take trips to the mall. Or, I make images like this. This is my vision of a trip. I’m in an airplane getting closer to my destination . . . and this is what I see."
