Ninety minutes of telephone, home or office-based consultation with Monica Nowakowski, LCSW (UCB ’85) on family caregiver issues and geriatric mental health. If you or someone you know is responsible for or caring about an elder, Monica can assist. Even long distance caregiving has its challenges and stresses. You may be trying to maintain your loved one at home as long as possible, considering a move to care facility or concerned about depression or dementia. Alternatively, you may be a professional such as fiduciary, estate planner, psychotherapist, or real estate agent seeking expertise with a client who has complex family ties or mental health issues.
This individual or family consultation includes a comprehensive psychosocial assessment, recommendations, and referrals. Monica also provides psychotherapy services for adults. Her interactive approach aids difficult decision-making relating to work, relationships, family and health and supports personal goals.
For the disabled and elders, home calls are available. March 2009 she was an expert guest on KQED’s public radio program Health Forum with Michael Krasney and the November 2007 issue of Orinda News featured her business and services.

Pick Up and Shipping Instructions:
Unless otherwise specified, items will be available for pick-up on December 9, 2011 from 9am - 2:30pm and 3:30pm - 5:30pm at Notre Dame Academy Elementary School, 2911 Overland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90064.
If you do not live in the area, or are otherwise unable to pick up the item, it will be mailed via first class postage with an insurance fee of $1.80 for every $50.00 of value or $8.10 included on your purchase.
We also offer gift wrapping for the holidays upon request for $2.50 for small items, $5 for medium items and $7.50 for bulky, big items.
