Description

Celebrating the Adventure—Continuing the Journey with the Conquistador Council (1910-2010).

This plaque features five 2010 Friends of Scouting council shoulder strips from the Conquistador Council, Boy Scouts of America.

The Conquistador Council is located in Southwestern New Mexico. Because of the vast area it serves, the Conquistador Council is divided in to four geographical districts: Chisum Trail (Eddy County), El Llano Grande (Curry, Roosevelt and DeBaca counties), Oil Patch (Lea County) and Rio Hondo (Chaves and Lincoln counties).  These districts are represented by four of the patches; the center patch is the official council shoulder strip.
