Private Label Wines - Bo Schembechler Heart of a Champion Collector's Series & Lake's Edge

Item Number: 264
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
In 2009, Michigan coach Bo Schembechler's widow, Cathy, launched a Bo-themed merlot to raise money for the university's cardiovascular research center. (Bo died of heart failure in 2006.) The effort was so successful that Cathy added a sauvignon blanc.
Bo Blanc is a luscious Sauvignon Blanc hand-selected by Cathy Schembechler, in honor of her husband, the University of Michigan coaching legend, Bo Schembechler.
The 2008 Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc has a luscious floral nose, silky honey and citrus palate with a crisp acidity on finish. Bo Blanc was vinted and bottled by Starworks Cellars, King City, California.
The winning bidder receives two (2) bottles of Bo Blanc 2008 and two (2) bottles of Lake's Edge Merlot, produced and bottled by Weibel Vineyards, Lodi, California. The label evokes the beauty of a Michigan lake in summer.
