I was so impressed with this work when I went to photograph it, and discovered how it was created.

Thick dark brown paper is placed over a sheet of gold painted paper.  The incredibly detailed eagle was then created by cutting through the brown paper, allowing the gold to show through.

It's amazing!  I hope you can see it in my macro shots of the wings and body, so you can appreciate it as well.

This wonderful work of art is matted and beautifully framed in Oak, and measures 20.5" x 25".
