Description

Each morning, 25 years ago, Mrs. Wight made a fresh pot of coffee, and over her coffee Mr. and Mrs. Wight built this Victorian Doll House together.  You can see the love in every shingle and every tiny light fixture they set in place.

The house is made of solid wood, probably Pine, and rests on a wall board base for lifting.  It has 11 rooms, including the bathroom, and it's wired so that the light fixtures, table lamps, and even the fireplace light up.

It has an upper patio that wraps around to the side of the house, a sun deck with a cute owl perched on the railing, and a covered front porch that also wraps around the side of the house.

The rooms have flooring that looks like hardwood planking, and one room has carpeting.  The wall paper of the rooms is Victorian in style, and adds much charm to this darling doll house.

There are several extra pieces of furniture that come with the house, as shown in the photos.  The curio cabinet doors open, and the secretary desk has working drawers and the lid rolls up and down.  Even the "loo" has a ceramic pot inside! Some furniture was already in the rooms.  There are also some beautiful "Persian" rugs for the dining room, living room, and wherever you choose to place them.

The house measures 44" at the highest point of the roof, and 31" high at the main part of the roof.  It measures 48" wide by 24" deep along the side.  It's painted with a beautiful shade of blue and has white trim along the windows and railings.

It looks like many of the historical homes here in downtown Prescott, and it is in excellent condition.

This very special house is just waiting to make a little girl's dream to come true!!
