Description

An Obe is an ornate Japanese sash, worn with the traditional Kimono by Japanese women.

This spectacular Obe has an elaborate floral design interwoven with golden silk thread and golden silk ribbon.  The rich black background enhances the stunning colors of the patterns.

The Obe comes with a beautiful dark wood rod, adorned with green tassles at each end, for hanging.  It can also be used as a dining room table runner, for a truly dramatic touch.

The photos you see are of the Obe folded in half.
