Description

Cal Ripken is baseball’s all-time IronMan.  Retiring from baseball in October, 2001, after 21 seasons with the Orioles, he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.  Although he began and finished his career at third base, Cal is still best known for redefining the position of shortstop.

The two-time Most Valuable Player and 19-time All-Star is best known for playing in 2,632 consecutive games shattering Lou Gehrig's record of 2,130 games. Ripken is one of only seven players with 3,000 hits and 400 homers and is first on the Orioles' career list in games, at-bats, runs, hits, doubles, homers and RBIs.

This baseball bat is hand-signed by the man whose name has become synonymous with strength, character, perseverance and integrity.  Just for us, it also bears the International Paper insignia. Bid now on this special piece of baseball history.
