Discover how owls are designed to survive and hunt in the dark. Enjoy the park in the moonlight as we go on a short walk in search of barred owls. One hour; appropriate for all ages.
Led by Cynthia Ocel, Education Coordinator at Acadia National Park. Cyndy has national parks and other beautiful places in her blood and more than 30 years experience in environmental education including Park Service jobs at Mt. Rainier, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Everglades National Parks.
Special Instructions
This is a private trip limited to 8 participants. It is not an Acadia National Park event; it is a trip led by a park naturalist donating her own time to ehlp send kids to Camp Beech Cliff.
Date and location on MDI to be mutually agreed upon by both parties. Participants to provide own transportation.
