These fused glass platters are as functional as they are beautiful! The 5th grade class, including Ms. Byrne, worked together to create these masterpieces. Each artist worked on his or her own section of a base glass platter, adding another layer of glass from a variety of colored and shaped pieces. The colored glass was glued into place by the artists and then fired in a kiln where the two layers were fused into one piece. These exquisite platters - one 12x17 inch and one 7 1/2 x 15 inch - can be admired and used for years to come!
