"Flowers Bring Me Joy" Oil Painting by Minnesota Artist Alexandra Jacobs

Item Number: 204
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Minnesota artist Alexandra Jacobs has been painting her whole life. She was only five years old when her first piece of artwork was displayed at the Walker Art Center of Minneapolis.
Alexandra’s watercolor and oil paintings are impressive for their nervy yet controlled improvisations. They have a childlike immediacy and wit about them, bringing to mind the unique vision of contemporary artist David Hockney and earlier masters Matisse and Braque.
Alexandra’s works are a joy to view. The oil painting, "Flowers Bring Me Joy," is framed in an ornate, stunning mahogany frame and is 34" x 34". The painting demands to be hung on a large wall to make a statement.
