That's right, we'll celebrate on ice at the Oakland Ice Center in jeans and sneaks (maybe even some padding) and brooms. But, first, let's get you lubed up with libations and fueled with casual fare off a wood-fired, traditional Mexican grill menu. The party starts at the Fitzhugh home, renowned for their ever-flowing stash of tasty beverages and good food. Then, we'll transport you down to the ice-rink for some slaps (of brooms on mini-soccer ball) and giggles (you and your spouse haven't had this much silly fun in years!). Relive your childhood days on the ponds of New England or tap into that inner child who still loves to play games and try this classic winter recreation. Broomball is all about the fun.... no contact. The penalties for contact are rougher than the ice. After 1 1/2 hours of exhilarating but friendly competition, we cap off the evening with a stop at the Kingfish on the way home. Never heard of the Kingfish?
