Taught by the dynamic Head-Royce English teacher Kelly Brown*, this course will provide extra support for the transition from Middle School to High School English with primary emphasis on reviewing essentials and previewing critical 9th grade concepts in literature and writing. Moreover, the course will address important High School academic skills: note-taking, managing a calendar and the ninth grade workload, test preparation, self-advocacy, and more.
