Fly like a bird! Durango Soaring Club has been around for 25 years or so offering fantastic glider rides.

Sailplanes are towed aloft to an altitude, depending on which ride you choose, and released.  As you soar like an eagle back to the gliderport, you will be able to see the beautiful San Juan Mountains, plus the Animas River winding throughout the Animas Valley  On a clear day one can view 100 miles of scenery in any direction!

Durango Soaring Club is located at Val-Air Gliderport, 3 miles north of Durango on Highway 550.
