Creative Movement Workshop for Preschoolers with SMPA Co-President Sue Savage

Dance Instructor, Sue Savage, will engage up to 10 preschoolers in an afternoon of twirls, leaps, spins and stretches designed to foster creativity, fun and the joy of movement. There will be singing, dancing, role-playing, cardio exercise and SMILES galore!! Date is Monday, January 30, 2012 from 3:15 – 4:30 PM in the Marino Community Room at Summit Montessori School. Upper El students Callie and Amanda will be assisting.
(No previous dance training required and stocking feet work just fine!)

About the instructor:
Suzanne Savage, holds a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Health and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. She holds numerous fitness and dance certifications and is a Dance Master of America, certified by test to teach dance. Sue has taught tap, ballet, jazz, creative movement and all aspects of physical fitness for over 30 years
She owned and operated her own dance studio for 15 years in Auburn, MA, taught at local studios for decades, managed a health club in Worcester for 12 years, enjoyed working with the elderly at Southgate Retirement Community in Shrewsbury, MA as the Health
and Fitness Director for 10 years and is presently working at Laurene Aldorisio’s Academy of Dance Expressions in Westborough, MA as the Dance Competition Coach, Adult Dance Class Instructor and Director of Community Outreach and Marketing
