Old Dominion University’s Men’s Basketball team first stepped on the court in the 1930-31 basketball Season. Since then they have done tremendously well and transitioned into Division I Basketball in the 1976-1977. The Monarchs moved into the Ted Constant Convocation Center in the 2002-2003 Season. The Monarchs basketball team played in the 2007, 2010, and 2011 NCAA tournaments and continues to succeed under the leadership of Head Coach Blaine Taylor as a part of the Colonial Athletic Association.
