"These wines are dark, ripe and intense, with a rich core of cedar, currant, anise and spice flavors, finishing with a firm tannic edge. Ripe aromas of wild blueberry merge with a hint of black olive and notes of spice and vanilla derived from aging in new French Oak. Powerful tannins are chewy and generous, and beautifully balanced by the equally dense flavors. They start out vibrant and alive with fresh acidity that mellows with a little age. They are impressive for their detailed, integrated flavors and their ability to balance muscle with elegance.
