Foodways Texas presents, “Texas Preserved,” the 2012 Foodways Texas Symposium, March 23-25, 2012 in Austin. Join Foodways Texas as we explore the ideas and methods regarding preservation among the many food cultures of Texas. Speakers will cover topics ranging from heritage breeds, canning, and heirloom vegetables to charcuterie, barbecue, and storytelling.
The winning bid entitles you to two tickets for the weekend-long event, which includes all symposium sessions as well as four chef prepared meals (drinks included) that will connect back to our theme.
Special Instructions
Dates are subject to change, but bidders can expect mid to late March, 2012. Please visit foodwaystexas.com for a recap of the 2011 symposium and for information as it becomes available. Foodways Texas will need to add the winning bidder (and their guest) to the list of attendees no later than 30 days prior to the event start date.
