Wine Spectator gave it 87 points with this review: "Tobacco and vanilla notes frame a core of cherry fruit in this tender, juicy red, which has a silky texture, with just enough tannins for grip. Drink now through 2011."

Provenance Food & Wine is an independently-owned, neighborhood specialty shop.  The shop specializes in affordable, everyday wines, many from boutique and/or biodynamic producers.  Most of the wines are accessibly-priced between $10 and $25. Provenance also carries an ever-changing selection of small-batch beers, handcrafted spirits and artisanal cheeses produced locally and the world over.  

Provenance has two locations:  Lincoln Square and Logan Square.
