This is a piece of the Fred Rubble Model, Channel Island board he was riding at the Quiksilver Pro in New York in September 2011. The piece is signed by Kelly including the words, "served its purpose."  The whereabouts of the top portion of the board are unknown.

Kelly Slater is arguably the greatest surfer, ever. He is without question the greatest contest surfer, winning an unprecedented 11 World Titles. Kelly has proven himself in every type of wave, from perfect Pipe to heaving Teahupoo. He is the most widely recognized face in surfing, and has to be considered one of the most influential surfers in the sport.
