Description

This is an original 8'9" Joe Quigg board from the early 1960s.  The board was lovingly restored by Danny Brawner.


Quigg is known as the Godfather of the Modern Surfboard. He was also one of the earliest and most well know pioneers of balsa surfboard construction.


Danny was the drummer for legendary surf rock band, The Sandals, who were credited with scoring the Endless Summer. Danny grew up glassing for Hobie Alter.
