This wall art has been made using the traditional art of batik wax printing.  The image represents Buddha in a meditating position.  The top is folded into a loop to fit a rod through it for hanging.  this is a Fair Trade product handmade by artisans in India.  The artisans have learned the art of batik wax printing from elder members of their communities.  The artisans are compensated fairly for their work, and are given development assistance to help their communities rise above poverty.
