Description

This will be an evening you will never forget! Enjoy casual cocktails and dining al fresco at the home of Ellin Rosenthal and Ron Faleide, before being serenaded by the fabulous Steve Poltz, a dynamic singer/songwriter and consummate storyteller. Steve blends a veteran’s impeccable craftsmanship with a fresh California (by way of Canada) indie/pop/rock vibe. He has met Elvis Presley, trick-or-treated at Liberace’s house, and was Bob Hope’s favorite altar boy (according to him). He had a unique near-collaboration/collision with David Cassidy in Vegas. His full-length CD of answering machine messages is one of Neil Young’s favorite albums. The former Rugburns front man now travels the world as a solo artist with music that can make you think, laugh (hard) and weep – all within a matter of minutes.

Steve co-wrote “You Were Meant For Me” with Jewel – the longest running song on the Billboard Top 100 – and was named “one of the most influential artists of the decade” at the San Diego Music Awards. He’s talented and engaging and a great guy. He looks forward to performing for you on September 15, 2012 at the home of Ellin Rosenthal and Ron Raleide.
