Grow Gardens Nursery in South Sebastopol has donated this fragrant and blooming LILAC!
French hybrid lilac 'Excel'. Botanical name: Syringa X Hyacinthiflora 'Excel'. Single light lavender flower. Very early bloomer that produces many large trusses. Will tolerate some drought when established.
It loves full sun, good drainage, and occasional wood ash. A friendly plant that even a novice gardener can keep alive!
