Flip Flop Farms: Michael and Madison Whitley invested in a 0.13 acre lot in Raleigh, NC that has slowly turned into a semi-sustainable plot of land. With approximately 300 square feet of garden space, 6 bee hives, and 3 Plymouth Barred Rock , 2 Black Sexlinks, and 4 Golden Comets chickens, the farm is providing us with fresh vegetables, fruits, honey and eggs. Together with our beloved beagle, Peanut, our goal is to eat local and live sustainably. We never know what will happen next when we mix an engineer, a nutritionist and a small plot of land.

Description of honey: Flip Flop Farms honey is pure, local, unfiltered honey, straight from our backyard. The honey is carefully tended to by thousands of Italian bees pollinating a variety of wild flowers, mainly holly bushes. The honey was extracted in early July, the peak of the honey flow. Our honey has a beautiful golden color and an in-depth flavor profile with a true taste of honey.
