Ballet and band music, what a combination!  Bring a date to New Jersey Ballet’s Gala at NJPAC for a pre-performance cocktail reception and stunning Ballet and the Band performance. 

The company on stage and the West Point Band in the pit will light up the night with a spectacular program featuring: Edward Villella’s Prelude, Fugue and Riffs; a new ballet by Pedro Ruiz, works by Jerome Robbins and George Balanchine and the choreographic debut of New Jersey Ballet’s own David Tamaki, whose neo-classical work is set to music for military band by music by Gustav Holst.  The program represents the first ever ballet-band collaboration for both the venerable 195 year-old West Point Army Band and NJ Ballet.
