Whether you are a beginner and want to explore belly dance to find out what it is all about with more personal attention OR you are an advanced student who has seen Catherine dance at a local hafla/show and wanted to explore her style, this is the option for you.
For beginner or advanced student, a private lesson is a good option and offers flexibility on scheduling.
Offering a 1 1/2 hour (90 minutes) private lesson with fees for studio rental included.
Special Instructions
With very demanding day job as a computer professional that has allowed me to indulge my passion for this dance form for more than 20 years, I started teaching a few years ago as a way to pass on what I've learned and to bring my dance to a new level.
Interacting with students has brought me new insight about my own dancing and encourages me to continually work on my presentation as a teacher and performer.
Studying with Hadia (of Montreal) during her Teaching Training courses has challenged me to improve my own dance and physical well-being, while passing on to my students healthier methods. Studying with native Egyptian dancers and traveling to Egypt several times over the past few years has brought me a more in depth knowledge of Egyptian dance, music and culture.
