Two Bottles of 2005 Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Rating 90 Plus pts.
Two Bottles of 2006 Shafer One Point Five Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Rating 90 Plus pts.
Two Bottles of 2002 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon2 Wine Rating 90 Plus pts.
All of these wines are from some of the best wineries in California! They are all rated 90 points and above by more than 1 wine rating agency (Wine Spectator, etc.).
The 2006 ONE POINT FIVE is listed among "Year's Best Cabernets" by Wine & Spirits Magazine. ..."the texture, that signal aspect of [Stags Leap district] fruit, is layered and as rich as French roast coffee, with an underlying tension that keeps the wine focused on high-toned red fruit, dark earth and violet scents. It's powerful and guarded when first poured , growing sleek and classical with a day of air. This should drink increasingly well over the next ten years."
Our 2002 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, profoud wine that beautifully balances concentration with finesse. It has a dark, ruby color and aromas of blackberry jam, soy sauce, violets and dark chocolate, with hints of cedar and cinnamon. The first impression in the mouth is one of smoothness and roundness. The wine offers a seamless, harmonious progression of fruit, chocolate, and black tea tones, leading to an extremely long finish with supple tannins and echoes of berry fruit.
