The mission of the Prairie Crossing Learning Farm is to educate and inspire people to value healthy food, land and community through experiences on our farm. The Learning Farm is the only modern, working, organic farm in Lake County that offers educational opportunities for children. We utilize three acres of land, several greenhouses, a children's garden, a hen house and a fruit orchard as outdoor classrooms. Learning Farm education programs rely on staff who have expertise in both agriculture and teaching.
