Ms. DePaz is hoping to enhance her reading stations with the addition of:

• Books on CD


• Picture books that can be used specifically for reading and writing strategies utilized at PCCS,


• Reading Pillows, and


• Reading games (working on context clues, inferring, and other literary elements). 

The books on CD will be used during reading at their listening-to-reading session for students. This occurs during reading and gives the students the option to follow along with a book and learn words as another person reads. 

The reading games will be used during RtI time and during instructional time. They will reinforce the concepts the students are learning at the time and give kids a fun way to practice the specific skill.
