The winning bidder will be given the opportunity to work side-by-side with owner and chef Mary Mastricola as you both prepare classic French cuisine -- a four session kitchen internship.

After your internship is over, invite your friends to dinner with a gift certificate (amount tbd) to enjoy the cuisine and share experiences and insider knowledge of working in a Michelin rated restaurant.

Date and time of kitchen sessions to be mutually agreed upon. la petite folie, situated in the courtyard of the Hyde Park Shopping Center, offers classic French food and wine for lunch and dinner from Tuesday through Friday and for dinner only on Saturday and Sunday.


 


Owners Michael and Mary Mastricola are University of Chicago alumni and Hyde Park residents.  In 1995, Mary earned the Grand Diplome of L'Ecole Cordon Bleu in Paris, finishing first in her class. Mary runs the kitchen while Michael directs the dining rooms and continues to develop and maintain the all-French wine list.
