Description

In spring 2011, The Paris Review announced the ambitious serialization of The Third Reich, Roberto Bolãno’s lost novel exploring memory and violence through the story of a German war-games champion abroad. The Review commissioned author and artist Leanne Shapton (The Native Trees of Canada) to illustrate scenes from each of the four sections published in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter 2011 issues. Now is your chance to own the original hand-drawn artwork from The Third Reich, signed by Shapton and framed in a shadowbox, each in an edition of one.

This listing is for the illustration of El Quemado that appeared in The Paris Review's Spring 2011 issue and part 1 of The Third Reich. The framed drawing approximately measures 13" x 12".
