She graduated with a Masters degree in counseling psychology from the University of Denver in 1991. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Addictions Counselor,Domestic Violence Provider as well as Level II EMDR provider. 

Her area of expertise is in relationship issues, trauma,substance abuse,anxiety and domestic violence. She utilizes a compassionate and direct approach to therapy for the purpose of healing and changing destructive behaviors to more effective coping skills in order to live a more functional and fulfilling life.

She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR in her therapeutic practices. Her approach to therapy is integrative as she is committed to working together with individuals to achieve their goals in helping them create a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
