Description

Several birdwatching groups meet on weekends in Central Park. Using the expertise acquired from these more professional excursions, I'd like to introduce to the donor and family or friends (no limit on the number who may attend) a morning's birdwatching in Central Park. The springtime is preferred, but any day of the year one can see spectacular birds in Central Park. Guaranteed hawk viewing, if not owl too. Bring binoculars.

The bird walk tour guide Linda Olle will ask you to meet her at the Boathouse, at the 72nd St. transit. There are bathrooms and a cafeteria for breakfast and a hot beverage there. The bird walk itself will be up to three hours, but you and your family and friends will be able to step out at any point to sit down, put your feet up, have lunch, and so on. Birdwatching in Central Park is very comfortable and almost passive, you will find!

Special Instructions

I'm a former acting assistant literary editor of the Nation, from 1998-1999, and an avid bird watcher.
