This is a historical novel about the real Zorro.  Estanislao was a California Indian who lead a revolution against the California Mission system.  The story is told from Estanislao's point of view so that you will know what he thought and why he did what he did.  Estanislao was a Catholic and remained a devout Catholic his entire life.  That is why the book is called "Man of God."
